  • Upon completion you will receive a diploma, Yoga Alliance 30 hrs (RYS 300 & YACEP). This course also counts as Continuing Education (CPD) hrs with Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK)

  • A tailored teacher training course focusing on your interests. 

  • Plenty of time to reconnect with your own practice, and to recharge if you’re feeling drained.

Yin Yoga Training in London

Yin yoga is a way to unwind and relax very deeply. It is a style of yoga that can be taught as a specific class or as a delicious way to end a dynamic flowing class. Yin practice can also provide a valuable preparation for the more subtle arts of pranayama and meditation.

This course consists of two days live in person learning plus 16 hours of on demand recorded material available for 1 year to consolidate learning. The course is accredited by Yoga Alliance.

The environment created by Melanie Cooper on this course, is non-dogmatic and non-judgemental. It provides time for you to step into the yin place of receiving and nurturing. 

Course Overview

On this course, you will learn how to teach yin yoga in a way that is inclusive and safe for everyone. Many students find this slower type of practice is a gateway into their inner world, helping them to connect and go deep inside so they can truly rejuvenate though the practice of yin.  

 Adding this training to your skills set can help you expand your horizons as a teacher and for many teaching yin offers a positive change from teaching faster more yang based energetic classes. The course will cover a wide range of topics from sequencing to anatomy and fascia and meridians.  

From the training you will learn: 

  • How to give assists based on acupressure and thai yoga massage

  • The theory and practice of sequencing

  • how to practice and teach yin poses

  • how to plan a yin-based class

  • how to use props effectively

  • the theory and science behind the practice

  • support in finding your own unique teaching style

  • how to adapt the practice for different body types and personalities

The course will cover a practical exploration of yin poses, including how to teach, how to modify for different body types and how to give assists based on acupressure and Thai Yoga Massage
