Yoga and The Immune System

Yoga & Science Workshops with Melanie Cooper and Dr Rachel David

Join us for a brand new series of workshops (delivered online) that explore the science behind the mind–body connection, with a focus on yoga and our immune system. Topics will explore:

- Inflammation in depression, and how yoga might support.

- The value of sleep (and practices that help our sleep) in helping us balance inflammation.

- The exciting world of our gut microbiota and how they link with inflammation.

Each 2-hour workshop will include an accessible introduction into the scientific topic by Dr Rachel David, followed by a yoga practice led by Melanie Cooper. We’ll also include tips and tricks on how to incorporate the learnings into your practice and teaching.

Everyone is welcome – whether you are a yoga teacher or an intrigued yoga practitioner.
A recording of the workshop will be available for 2 weeks after the live session, so you can attend even if you can’t join live.
